FREQUENCY FESTIVAL

Commissioned by Barracuda Music, MODULUX delivered stage support and video technology for the Space Stage and Green Stage at the four editions of the FM4 Frequency Festival from 2023 to 2026 in St. Pölten.

During the multi-day festival, we supported the acts and their visual artists in setting up and connecting their video systems, as well as integrating their content into our system. For numerous acts, we also had the opportunity to shape the shows with our own live visuals.

Our technical responsibilities included playback hardware and media servers, correctly positioning and mapping content across the various screens, as well as signal routing and cabling.

We were supported by a team of visual artists and video specialists. Our partner 4youreye took care of the Green Stage.

Over the four festival years, the live visuals were created by MODULUX, Lucas Dikany, Xaver Hopfgartner, Jascha Süss and Lichterloh.

The closing show was also an integral part of our work at Frequency Festival every year. The musical and content framework was developed in collaboration with Barracuda Music. Based on the supplied audio file, MODULUX produced the accompanying visuals and brought the show to life visually on stage.
